Fans of the blockbuster home renovation series The Block have a rare chance to own one of the exclusive Sydney homes featured on the show.
A home in the blue ribbon Eastern Suburbs locale of Vaucluse, that featured in the ultra successful return of the show in 2010, has hit the market.
After a six year hiatus, the Channel 9 show returned with a bang in September 2010 to firmly establish itself as a free-to-air ratings juggernaut.
One of the apartments that featured in that series, 2/107 New South Head Road, Vaucluse is for sale with a price guide of $1.8 million.
It been listed by sales agent Brad Caldwell-Eyles of 1st City.
“Situated quietly at the rear of a stylish collection of four apartments, this ground floor apartment blends innovative design with quality appointments to create a house-like designer haven,” the listing reads.

“Curated with a focus on seamless indoor/outdoor living it delivers space and convenience in a prized blue-ribbon address, all in the heart of Vaucluse village with cafes at the doorstep and beaches just moments away.”
Blockheads will remember John and Nisha Pitt, Erin and Jake Michael, Mark Bowyer and Duncan Miller, and Cheryl ‘Chez’ Gravina and Brenton Courts battled it out to win the $100,000 prize money.
The apartment for sale is Mark and Duncan’s (aka ‘the fat tradies’) unit.
Of the 16 seasons of The Block (including this year) only four have featured in Sydney. The Vaucluse address was followed by one in Bondi in 2013 but since then the show has only been shot in Melbourne, largely due to the high prices of real estate in the Harbour City.
The 2010 was the first in which Scott Cam, who replaced Jamie Durie, starred as host. Cam grew up only blocks from where the 2010 series was filmed.

That year was also well known for starring property guru John McGrath as one of the judges.
The 2010 series featured seven room reveals with Erin and Jake prevailing for their main bathroom, guest room, laundry and kitchen reveals.
However on auction day, John and Neisha Pitt did best, claiming a profit of $205,000, for their home which sold for $1.105m, and the $100,000 first prize.
Chez and Brenton sold their apartment post-auction for $970,000, after it was passed in, for a $90,000 profit. Erin and Jake took home $87,500, after getting $997,500 for their unit, while Mark and Duncan took home $47,000 after a sale of $907,000.
The auctions enjoyed a combined profit of $339,500.
During the open home inspections, hundreds of fans of the show and serious buyers lined up around the block to have a look.
