When it comes to upper north shore suburbs, not only is Longueville one of smallest, it also has the biggest median house price.
Latest data from realestate.com.au puts that median at $4.35 million, which represents an impressive five-year growth of 46 per cent.

There have been a handful of big sales in the suburb this year well above this median,
The suburb’s residential price record was set in 2018 with the sale of 28 Lucretia Ave, for $11.88 million.
Arabella St keeps good company with Lucretia St – together they dominate the suburb’s top 10 sales list.
This beauty at No. 29 is a perfect example of why it is one of the most sought-after streets in Longueville.
There has only been one sale in Arabella St this year, even though it is home to almost 130 properties, according to CoreLogic.
Brent Courtney, of McGrath Lane Cove, said the 795sqm property occupied a prized position in the street, with views that stretch from Woodford Bay to the Harbour Bridge and beyond.
“I think it’s one of the best views in Arabella St,” he said.
“It is the most phenomenal view on a nice day and you should see it at night – it gets better.”
Mr Courtney said the current owners, who bought the property in 2002, built a brand new home about 15 years ago.
The contemporary design features extensive use of glass, timber and stone, and capitalises on the amazing view.
The extensive list of features make it ideal for buyers of all types, from families to downsizers.
Those features include a media room with gas fireplace, covered dining area in the rear garden, gas kitchen with Ilve appliances and Zip HydroTap, ducted airconditioning, undertile heating and an internal elevator.
Literally nothing has been missed – right down to the indoor heated pool with swim jets, spa, sauna, gym, wine cellar and cool room.
And it is only 10 minutes to the heart of the Sydney CBD. The property is due to go to auction on August 15, at 3.45pm, with a price guide of $8 million.
